The event organized by North-East RDA on 14th of October 2015, in the Committee of the Regions, gave the opportunity to 150 local public authorities, academia and private entities all over Europe, to assess experience related to the urban development policies, to focus on examples of EU cities good practice and to collect new ideas for projects to be implemented in 2014-2020 programming period.

The visit of the representatives of the North-East RDA in the Northern Netherlands begun at the headquarters of the Alliance of Northern Provinces (SNN), located in the city of Groningen. With this occasion, the director general Mr. Eise van der Sluis, Mr. Albert Haan, Project Manager and Mr. Vasile Asandei, director general of the North-East RDA reiterated the scope and basic principles the partners will consider in elaboration of the joint working program: achieving value changes of the development regions, defining the interlinked processes and projects, management of the program through a coordination committee with representatives from both regions from all categories of actors (civil society, business sector, knowledge society and public administration).
