The Communication, Innovation and External Cooperation Directorate represents the voice of both, the organization and of the North-East Region, within our country and beyond its borders. It ensures that the developed communication tools provide relevant and up-to-date information to the target audience, at regional, national and international level. It is a support structure for the North-East ROP Intermediate Body and provides the Regio interface for potential funding applicants. Since 2010, it has been the bridge with the European Commission and various European associations and networks, ensuring permanence in establishing international collaboration relations.
This department hosts the team responsible for managing RIS3, which assumes the role of catalyst for the implementation and operationalization of the smart specialization strategy, aims to create new partnerships through the internationalization of RIS3, project implementation and development of smart development models.
