At the end of July 2023, the North-East Regional Development Agency signed with the Ministry of European Investments and Projects the Framework Agreement for the delegation of some functions regarding the implementation of the Health Program, thus becoming the Intermediate Body (IB) for priorities 1, 2, 3, 4 and 7, financed within this Program from the European Regional Development Fund.

The Health Program  is a multi-fund program (FSE+ and ERDF funding), with a total allocation of 5.88 billion euros, which supports the implementation of the National Health Strategy 2022-2030 by financing investments in both pre-hospital and hospital care , as well as in the resilience of the health system. The program will also support interventions aimed at the development of research and innovation solutions in the medical field and the development and use of digital technologies to facilitate access to information and education.

IB North-East RDA is responsible for the management of projects contracted for financing from the ERDF at the level of the North-East Region.
