THE NORTH-EAST RDA ENGINE

Provides management and is responsible for the implementation of the Regional Operational Program (ROP) in the North-East region.

The Regional Operational Program (ROP) is one of the programs through which Romania accesses European structural and investment funds from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), in the current programming period (2014-2020).

ROP 2014-2020 has 15 priority axes, identified as the most relevant in the context of the current stage of socio-economic development of Romania’s regions, as well as the main directions of strategic action mentioned in the relevant national and European strategic documents:

DIRECT ASSISTANCE

For the optimal implementation of the operational program, the Intermediate Body for ROP assumes a proactive role in training beneficiaries through various forms of direct assistance – from providing platforms for the distribution of good practices and lessons learned, to support for the preparation of standard documentation.

OWN INSTRUMENTS

The management and operationalization of these activities uses a national electronic information system – My SMIS, but also its own application, developed by an internal team – My ADR, the only one of its kind at national level and appreciated by both the European Commission and the other Regional Development Agencies in the country.
